Have you found yourself sitting behind the wheel and staring at a warning light that makes little to no sense and you can’t figure out why it is happening? Panic sets in and you’re thinking “is that the light that means the engine is going to fall out of my car?!” Fear not, you drive a Subaru. That kind of thing doesn’t happen with these beauties. That being said, a little education goes a long way and you really should be the empowered vehicle owner that we want you to be. Lets get our education on and dive into the warning lights and how to know if your car needs a quick trip to Subaru of Niagara.

TODAY WE ARE TALKING: CHARGE WARNING LIGHT

The CHARGE WARNING light indicates that the charge system in your vehicle is no longer. This means that your car is not allowing the power to charge in various elements throughout the vehicle. This is not a light to mess around with, you should not be on the road. Pull over as quickly as possible and call to have your vehicle towed for service.

The likely culprit is your battery, and replacing a battery is a relatively inexpensive repair that doesn’t take too long. Subaru of Niagara can facilitate this repair quickly for you, like all batteries the life on the 12 volt in your vehicle will eventually reach its life span and a replacement will fix your vehicle up quickly!
