Stop-The-Spread

Subaru of Niagara COVID-19 Response

To our customers,

It’s important to Subaru of Niagara that we continue to work together to keep our customers, staff, and community members healthy. We are following the lead of Canadian Public Health Authorities at this time. Future decisions about closing our dealership for health reasons will be made in collaboration with Public Health, Niagara Region.

Here are some of the ways we are protecting our customers, staff, and the community at Subaru of Niagara:

  • Additional cleaning staff have been added; a disinfecting crew in addition to regular cleaning, and cleaning routines will be adjusted to ensure that all high use touchpoints like handrails, door handles, desktops, cars, etc., are cleaned and sanitized with greater frequency;
  • Full sanitary staff protocol including handwashing intervals and full cleansing of all stations, every interaction, payment, etc.;
  • Entry will be through sliding doors to minimize contact;
  • Custodial staff will take extra care to ensure regular replenishing of foaming hand soap, hand sanitizer, and paper products at Subaru of Niagara;
  • Cleaning service equipment, tools, computers, and common meeting areas will occur at a higher frequency;
  • Hand sanitizer is supplied for our customers, staff, and the community and we’re continuing to work with vendors to keep the supply stocked;
  • Enhancing the cleaning of our showroom, and cars;
  • Encouraging staff to stay home when they are ill;
  • Cancelling large gatherings that are organized by Subaru of Niagara such as meetings and events;
  • We have asked our team members to refrain from shaking hands; please accept our salutations as a sign of respect and consideration for your health and safety.
  • Distributing health information from Niagara Public Health;
  • Regular contact with Niagara Public Health for updates on new information
