A closer look at the new Subaru XV Crosstrek

Subaru XV Crosstrek

Subaru is currently developing their latest Crosstrek. It is rumored to launch in March during the Geneva Auto Show in Europe. The XV Crosstrek models the previous generations but with a more rugged design based off of the latest Impreza.

The adventures in the ride

This latest Crosstrek generation is equipped to handle adventure. The taller riding height and standard roof rack give you more space to pack your travel items and cross bumpy terrain to safely reach your destination. With added cost, you can get collision assist that prevents collision with an intelligent visual aids system.

The initial launch will exclusively feature 2.0-liter four-cylinder rated at 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. These are the identical mechanical specs that are offered in the latest Impreza proving that they have been tested to work time after time. The variable transmission and proven symmetrical all-wheel drive system will help the driver take full advantage of the journey. The smooth ride models the comfortable interior making driving fun and easy.

The interior will differ from the design featured in the latest Impreza hatchback. The options for interior colour and trim will be more limited, further streamlining the general appearance. The XV will feature Apple CarPlay designed to keep your eyes safely on the road and keeping you connected with friends and family. No Apple? No problem, the latest Crosstrek will also feature Android compatible touchscreens so nobody gets left behind. The 5 seat, sleek and comfortable interior can accommodate the whole family’s needs or perfectly compliment your fun weekend travel plans.

North America can expect to see this model revealed during the New York Auto show during April 2018. Rumors continue to circulate about hybrid options and fuel efficient technology but, until the release that is all, there is available. The waiting game begins for the Crosstreks XV latest, new and improved generation.
